Attorney Eric R. Johnson II is a native of Chicago, Illinois and a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He is admitted to practice before the Superior and State Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court and the United States District Court Northern District of Georgia.

In 2007, Attorney Johnson formed the Johnson Firm, LLC and frequently represents both adults and juveniles who have been charged with felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic offenses in state and municipal courts throughout the State of Georgia. Through this experience, Attorney Johnson has gained invaluable training and experience in the areas of criminal defense representation and trial procedures and advocacy as well as obtaining valuable insight into the criminal justice system which allows the creative and vigorous defense of his clients.
Attorney Johnson has conducted numerous jury trials throughout the State of Georgia and successfully handled hundreds of criminal cases representing those charged with major felonies like trafficking in cocaine, armed robbery and aggravated assault to those charged with traffic violations. In addition, Attorney Johnson has litigation experience as plaintiff’s counsel for the plaintiff, protecting the rights of victims and their families harmed through the negligence of others. Regardless of the matter, Attorney Johnson strives to achieve the best possible resolution for our clients through effective and competent advocacy.
Attorney Johnson is a member of various professional organizations such as the Gate City Bar Association and Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL). He has also been a guest commentator on shows such as CNN Newsroom and HLN After Dark. Attorney Johnson is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity Incorporated.
